Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)

The LLB is a 3-year programme which focuses on core business, international legal issues and will provide an in-depth view of key legal subjects. It embeds both the civil law and the common law to match the local legal framework and will prepare you for the legal career you choose.

The LL.B. program prepares students with all necessary skills to apply to Bar schools* (in some cases with one additional year for legal reasons) or to enter legal departments of international companies.

University Paris II Pantheon-Assas bundles a mix of theoretical and practical systems to provide you with the best approach and content across the duration of your programme, with these objectives in mind:

  • Learn from exposure and experiences

The Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) program proposed in Mauritius will concentrate on case studies and deepening of key legal subjects from a transversal and pluridisciplinary perspective.

The LL.B. program prepares students with all necessary skills to apply to Bar Schools (in some cases with one additional year for legal reasons) or to enter legal departments of international companies.

Level: Bachelor – 3 years duration

Admission and fees for the LL.B.

Entry Requirements: Minimum 2 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent
Exemptions: No exemptions

Admission process:
Candidates can only apply once per academic year.
In order to apply to the LL.B., please read carefully the following indications.
Please produce the following additional documents by email to M. Adel Chabir:

      1. HSC/ BAC/ IB results (or equivalent) OR Mock results/ 1st semester results of Upper 6/ Terminal/ Form 7 (or equivalent)* (MANDATORY)
      2. Lower 6/ Classe de premiere/ Form 6 results (or equivalent) (MANDATORY)
      3. Motivation Letter (MANDATORY):
        This should include:

        • the reasons why you wish to study Law,
        • you future aspirations,
        • extracurricular activities as well as
        • why you chose Université Pantheon ASSAS (Paris II).
      4. One Reference Letter (can be Academic or Professional) (MANDATORY)
      5. Candidates with more than 3 months’ work experience to provide their CV (OPTIONAL)
      6. A copy of your National Identity Card or Passport or Birth Certificate (MANDATORY)
      7. Recent passport size photograph to attach to your file (MANDATORY)

*Kindly note that should you meet all other requirements, you will be offered a conditional offer until review of your HSC/ BAC/IB results (or equivalent).
Tuition fees: € 6,000 Euros per academic year, for the first batch (2017-2018).
